ORIENTATION WEEK

BBSITM welcomes the students with excitement and look forward to their arrival on the first day of orientation. The orientation program is designed in a way that they can actively adapt to their transition into college and can build on a sense of responsibility and belongingness at BBSITM. Established in the year 1997, BBSITM organizes a full fledged orientation week every year to gratify the new batch of students, who have joined the various programs offered.

Orientation Week provides means to introduce the new students to the tradition and community that has helped BBSITM to develop as a desired destination for students all across the nation. This one week series of events, affairs, and program benefits the students to get a complete overview of the college working pattern and its ideologies. Some of the important aspects of the program include class registration, synopsis of various details and an opportunity to interact with the faculty, staff and the fellow mates.

The specific events organized for the orientation covers the following objective:

• Introduce students to BBSITM family, our ethical and cultural values, and the tradition that we have successfully managed for so many years.
• Develop means to help them communicate with staff and faculty to establish healthy acquaintances for a better future with the institution.
• Accustom students to the campus and its varied resources including the facilities and support services of the institution.
• Provide the students with an opportunity to engage themselves in the activities so that they can embark on a journey of a successful career in the industry.

ACCOMMODATION AND MEALS

Living in hostels means living away from the family. At SAMS, we understand the importance of family and strive hard to offer our students home like accommodation with high-quality food facility. From hygiene to comfort, cleanliness and safety, we take care of each and everything at SAMS, which makes our accommodation second to none.

The college accommodation allows students to mingle with different students coming from varied regions. Our centrally air-conditioned accommodation facility for both the boys and girls provide them comfortable life close to all the hanging out zones in the city. The well-furnished rooms in our hostels also have high-speed internet access.

We understand the importance of networking and connectivity in today’s era and provide Wi-Fi internet connectivity to the students. It also helps them with their projects and studies. To ensure the safety of the students, the hostel has been equipped with fire alarms, sprinklers and security guards.

Home-like food for good health of students;

Students at BBSITM get high-quality breakfast, lunch and dinner. They can enjoy various cuisines like Indian, continental and oriental. Expert dietitians decide the menu while experienced cooks prepare delicious food for the students living at BBSITM hostel. The dining hall has been equipped with state-of-the-art interiors and furniture to help students enjoy their food.
